The Douglas County Register of Deeds office will be going to a new recording system. Pioneer Technology Group is our new provider and Landmark is the application.
Remote users may join sessions to train for the Landmark product with the Staff of Pioneer Technology Group November 17th and 18th.

Douglas County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council Meeting (CJCC)
County Commissioner Mike Gaughan, chair, called the regular meeting to order at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2016.
Douglas County Courthouse elevator is planned to be out of service Wednesday, October 19, 2016 through Monday, October 24, 2016. The first, second and third floors of the Douglas County Courthouse, at 1100 Massachusetts St. in Lawrence, will not be accessible by elevator during that time period. All services will be available for citizens with disabilities on the lower level from October 19th through the 24th. The project is planned to be completed by Tuesday, October 25th.
October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month which is an annual campaign to raise awareness about cybersecurity. We live in a world that is more connected than ever before. The Internet touches almost all aspects of everyone’s daily life, whether we realize it or not.
