Mission Statement

Our Motto

NON SIBI SED OMNIBUS...

Not for one’s self, but for all

It is our mission to be recognized by our community as a model of excellence.

We will do as much as we can within the limitations of our resources to protect and limit the degree of human suffering when called to emergencies

We will endeavor to protect and preserve the health of not only our community but also our fire department members and return our family back to their families.

The fire district will strive to maintain and improve the quality of life of all who live, visit, work, or invest in the communities in which we respond

Project Lifesaver

Project Lifesaver

Project Lifesaver is the search and rescue program operated internationally by public safety agencies, and is strategically designed for “at risk” individuals who are prone to the life threatening behavior of wandering. The primary mission of Project Lifesaver is to provide timely response to save lives and reduce potential injury for adults and children with the propensity to wander due to a cognitive condition. People with Autism, Down Syndrome, Dementia/Alzheimer’s, and brain injuries make up the majority of PLS clientele. Clients in need are fitted with a wrist band that contains a transmitter that emits a unique signature which can be located by equipment our trained trackers follow. Consolidated Fire District 1 (CFD1) operates the program for Douglas County.
