There are three options to receive a 60 day temporary tag.

Please email pictures or scans of all of the following completed documents to motorvehicles@dgcoks.gov:

1. Copy of front and back of the title with the purchaser's information completely filled out
2. Copy of current insurance for vehicle
3. 60 Day Permit Application (PDF)
4. Credit Card Authorization Form (PDF) for $8.00 filled out and signed

Please make a packet with copies of the following completed documents:

1. Copy of front and back of the title with the purchaser's information completely filled out
2. Copy of current insurance for vehicle
3. 60 Day Permit Application (PDF)
4. $8.00 payment by check, cashier’s check, or money order made payable to Douglas County Treasurer

Use the drop box in the small parking lot South of the old Courthouse at 1100 Massachusetts St. or the drop box in the parking lot West of the Treasurer's Office at 2601 W. 6th St.

Please bring the following items:

1. Original Title with title assignment completed by seller  

2. Proof of insurance for the vehicle (digital or paper)

3. Photo ID
