Climate Action and Adaptation Plan

On May 22, 2024, the Douglas County Commission approved Resolution No. 24-13, effectively adopting a plan to mitigate our greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to the impacts of climate change, and charging staff to put it into action. 

Adapt Douglas County: A Climate Action and Adaptation Plan builds on our community's priorities, accounts for our assets and vulnerabilities, and recommends short and long-term policies and program development.
