Douglas County is always seeking dedicated and knowledgeable volunteers to serve on various boards and commissions.

The Douglas County Board of Commissioners are elected officials to help administer county policy and procedures.
The Board of Zoning Appeals is a quasi-judicial County Board that can approve, approve with conditions, or deny a variance request.
By Kansas law, CRB is to review the case of a child who is the subject of a Child In Need of Care (CINC) petition filed by the District Attorney’s office.
