Palmyra Fire District #2

Our mission is to provide a service to the community through professionalism, training and dedication.

Palmyra Fire District #2 is a volunteer fire district, established in 2015. It serves approximately 80 square miles in the south east corner of Douglas County, Kansas. The department was founded in 1983 and was operated as a part of Palmyra Township until 2015. At that time, a separate governing board was established, by the county, and the fire district was born.
