Two or more Commissioners may attend the Annual North Lawrence Improvement Association (NLIA) Chili Feed at the Union Pacific Depot, 402 N 2nd Street, Lawrence, Kansas. No County business will be conducted.

-6:00 p.m. – Douglas County Conservation District’s 71st Annual Meeting at Flory Meeting Hall, Douglas County Fairgrounds, 2120 Harper. Two or more Commissioners may attend. No County business will be conducted.  

12:00-1:00 p.m. - Judges and Commissioners annual meeting located in the Judicial and Law Enforcement Center, Citizen's Review Board Room on the First Floor. No decisions will be made at this special meeting. The purposed of the meeting is for the new Commissioners and new Judgees to get acquainted and to discuss issues that might impact the District Court and the County over the next year.

5:30-9:30 p.m. - The Chamber 17th Annual Meeting at Abe & Jake's Landing. Two of more Commissioners may attend. No County Business will be conducted.

4:00 p.m. - Lawrence Memorial Hospital Annual Meeting located at Cider Gallery, 810 Pennsylvania Street, Lawrence, Kansas 66044. Two or Commissoner may attend. No County business will be conducted.

The County Commission meeting for January 18 has been cancelled.

9:00 a.m. - Swearing in of elected County Commissioners and other elected officials.

The County Commission meeting for Wednesday, December 28 has been cancelled.

3:00 p.m. -- Open House for Renovated Fairgrounds Facility in Meeting Hall. Two or more Commissioners may attend. No County Business will be conducsted.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

The County Commission will meet at 3:00 p.m. for an Executive Session with the Regular County Commission meeting to follow at 4:00 p.m.
