9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. - Criminal Justice Coordinating Council Strategic Planning Retreat. Two or more Commissioners may attend.
The Kaw Valley Farm Tour Heritage Sites online tour provides a deeper understanding of the rich agricultural heritage of the area and to showcase historic buildings that were and continue to be part of the cultural fabric of Kansas. This tour is coordinated by the Douglas County Heritage Conservation Council and the Douglas County Heritage office which work to ensure the conservation of Douglas County’s natural and cultural resources.
Valor Awards and Appreciation Dinner. Two or more Commissioners may attend. No County business will be conducted.
The County Commission meeting for August 29, 2018 has been cancelled.
1:00 p.m. - Funeral for Fire Chief Mark Bradford. Two or more Commissioners may attend. No County business will be conducted.
9:00 a.m. - Pie Judging at the Douglas County Fair. Two of more Commissioners may attend. No County business will be conducted.
Tour of Johnson County's Therapeutic and Residential Centers. Two or more Commissioners may attend. No County business will be conducted.
