Douglas County and partner agencies will provide an update about behavioral health initiatives during a community event “New Directions in Behavioral Health” 5:30-7 p.m. May 6 in the Lawrence Public Library auditorium, 707 Vermont St. The event is free, open to the public and being held in conjunction with Mental Health Awareness Month. Light refreshments will be available.
6:00-8:00 p.m. - Growing Good Neighbors event hosted by the Food Policy Council. Two or more Commissioners may attend. No County business will be conducted.

5:30-6:30 p.m. - Kansas Leadership Center Tranformation Grant Information Session, Thursday, February 21 at the Flory Building, Douglas County Fairgrounds, 2110 Harper Street, Lawrence, Kansas. Two or more Commisioners may attend.
Douglas County, in partnership with the Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department and Kansas Department of Health and Environment, will provide for free the MyStrength app to Douglas County residents. MyStrength offers individuals support for managing depression, anxiety, stress, sleep and other health issues. It also allows users to set health goals and track their changes over time.
