The County Commission meeting for September 1, 2021 has been cancelled. 

The public is encouraged to join our County Commission meetings in person or live using Zoom. Agendas for public meetings, along with the materials associated with those meeting agendas, will continue to be available ahead of the meeting on the County’s website, and recordings of the County Commission meetings will be posted on the County’s website after the meeting. Individuals may sign up to receive notification of the agenda for County Commission meetings on the County’s website as well.

5:30-7:30 p.m. - Grand reopening for Kansas Suicide Prevention Headquarters at 2110 Delaware Street. Two or more Commissioners may be in attendence. 

3:00-5:00 p.m. - Board of Indigents' Defense Services Public Hearingat the Lawrence Arts Center. Two or more Commissioners may be in attendance. 

11:00 a.m. - Drug Court Graduation in Douglas County Commission Chamber.  Two or more Commissioners may be in attendance. 

Douglas County Fair Pie Judge. Two or more Commissioners may be in attendance. No County business will be conducted.
