4:00 p.m. - Swearing in of Karen Willey to County Commission District 3 seat replacing Shannon Portillo. Two or more Commissioners may be present.

 Noon-1:30 p.m. - Annual Lawrence-Douglas County Planning Commission Annual Orientation, Ad Astra Conference Room in Planning & Zoning Development Services. Two or more Commissioners may be in attendance.

2:00 p.m. - Douglas County Democratic Convention for picking the District 3 County Commissioner. Two or more Commissioners may be in attendance. 

The 45th anniversary of The Willow is on Friday, August 26 at Watkins Museum at 5:30 p.m. located at 1047 Massachusetts Street. Two or Commissioner may be in attendance.
