Some ticketed drivers given incorrect traffic court date
December 27, 2023 3:57 pm
Drivers who received a citation from the Kansas Highway Patrol with a court date to appear in Douglas County District Court on Friday, December 29, 2023, received an erroneous court date, the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office announced today.
Drivers should instead appear in traffic court on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 8:15 a.m., unless fines and court costs are paid prior to that date.
Anyone with questions should contact the District Attorney’s Office at (785) 832-8202 or by email at datraffic@dgcoks.gov. The office cannot provide legal advice but can provide information about scheduled court appearances and discuss potential resolutions to the case.
