Discovery Procedures
Defense Attorney Discovery Information
The Douglas County District Attorney’s Office provides discovery to defense attorneys through PbK (Prosecutor by Karpel).
Discovery is sent via email from PbK. Defense counsel must click a link in the email to download discovery to their own computer.
The link will be available for 180 days and then will become inactive for download. The files in the link are available for 15 days after download.
- The email will come from: noreply@hostedbykarpel.com.
The subject line will state: Subject: Discovery Information Available For Case XX-XX-XXXXXXX On Defendant [NAME].
The body of the text will state:
- You have discovery information available.

Once initially downloaded, this information will be available for download for an additional 15 days.
