The mission of the Black Jack Battlefield Advisory Board is to advise Baldwin City and Douglas County on the preservation, maintenance, and interpretation of Black Jack Battlefield Park for the access and enjoyment of Douglas County residents and visitors, preserving local history, enhancing open space, and connecting natural and cultural heritage. This Advisory Board is temporary in nature and aims to have their work completed by the end of 2026.
