IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF DOUGLAS COUNTY, KANSAS

ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 18-19

ORDER CLOSING 7TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT
IN OBSERVANCE OF
NATIONAL DAY OF MOURNING

Pursuant to the Administrative Order of Justice Lawton R. Nuss,
Chief Justice of the Kansas Supreme Court, Wednesday, December 5,
2018, the National Day of Mourning of the death of former President
George H. W. Bush, will be observed and the 7th Judicial District, will be
closed, with the following exception.

Each District Judge and Pro Tern Judge is given the authority, in the
best interest of justice, to conduct court proceedings scheduled for that
day. Parties are directed to contact the assigned court to verify whether
that division will conduct court on December 5th.

IT IS SO ORDERED this 3rd day of December, 2018
