Claire’s Community, in partnership with the Sheriff’s Office, is hosting “Timeline of a Tragedy: Would you recognize the signs?” from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, 2120 Harper St., in Building 21.

The event will explore what abuse can look like, how it can escalate, and the signs we should recognize before a situation becomes a tragedy. 

Shannon VanLandingham, founding executive director of Claire’s Community, and Morgan Shockley-Haney, advocacy and outreach specialist for the Sheriff’s Office, will be the presenters.

Come learn, converse with others in the community, and help build a community where healthy relationships and safety for all are prioritized.
