The Lawrence Schools Foundation will host the third annual Kids Expo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, August 8, at the Educational Support Center, 110 McDonald Drive. The free event invites families and students to enjoy activities while learning about Lawrence Public Schools, community services, educational programs, local businesses and more. Visitors can stop by the Douglas County Emergency Management and EveryDay Counts tables to learn more about those county services.
