Hosted By: Community Children's Center & University of Kansas Center for Public Partnerships and Research
The Community Children’s Center and the University of Kansas Center for Public Partnerships and Research invites the public to join them in a conversation focused on strengthening family support and well-being in our community from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday June 9 at the Community Children's Center, 346 Maine St., Lawrence.
Through stories and data from Kansas families, residents will come together to find shared meaning in our experiences and explore what they reveal about our community. Together, attendees will:
- Understand common challenges families face in our community today.
- Identify patterns and shared experiences.
- Generate ideas to strengthen family and community well-being.
By sharing perspectives and making meaning together, your voice helps shape real solutions that support families. Ideas generated will be shared with participants and state leaders to inform future efforts.
Attendance to this free event is especially encouraged from adults who live or work in Lawrence and Douglas County. Lunch will be provided and childcare is not provided but children may attend with their caregiver if needed.
Space is limited, please register in advance by filling out this RSVP form.
