The community is invited to join local housing experts and advocates for a deep dive into the results of the 2023 Douglas County Tenant Experience Survey and a discussion about next steps. The meeting will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vermont St., in the auditorium.
In 2023, more than 1,000 Douglas County tenants completed a comprehensive survey about their experiences living in rental housing. The community forum is being presented by the Sexual Trauma & Abuse Care Center, Live Well Douglas County, Kansas Department of Health and Environment, The Willow Domestic Violence Center, City of Lawrence and Douglas County.
