Community meeting about results of 'Tenant Experience' survey

Hosted By: Lawrence Public Library

Join local housing and sexual violence prevention experts and advocates for an in-depth discussion about the Douglas County Tenant Experience Survey results. The meeting will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vermont St., in the auditorium.

In 2023, more than 1,000 Douglas County tenants completed a comprehensive survey about their experiences living in rental housing.

The event will cover the survey process, highlight key findings, host a policy and recommendations panel, and provide opportunities for community involvement.

The event is free and open to the public. No registration required.

This initiative is part of the community strategic plan, “A Place for Everyone,” aimed at ending chronic homelessness and is supported by the LiveWell Douglas County Sexual Violence Prevention work group.

The community forum is being presented by the Sexual Trauma & Abuse Care Center, LiveWell Douglas County, Kansas Department of Health and Environment, The Willow Domestic Violence Center, City of Lawrence and Douglas County.
