Join Somos Lawrence for a Celebration of Spring this Saturday, May 4, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at John Taylor Park, 200 N. Seventh St. in Lawrence. There will be children's activities, garden tours and a petting zoo. Participants are invited to bring a dish to share with families.

The event is funded by the Douglas County Heritage Conservation Council and held in partnership with the Ballard Center, Common Ground program, Lawrence Public Library and Lawrence Percolator Art Space.
