The Senior Resource Center and the United Way of Kaw Valley will host the Douglas County Volunteer Expo from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9 at the Flory Meeting Hall, Douglas County Fairgrounds, 2120 Harper St. The public is invited to this free event to learn about ways to stay engaged in our community. Find your purpose or passion by connecting with over 35 local nonprofits and agencies in need of volunteers.
