Free Screening and Discussion of documentary "Paris to Pittsburgh"


A free screening and discussion of the National Geographic documentary, “Paris to Pittsburgh,” April 7 at Lawrence Public Library auditorium, 707 Vermont St. The documentary celebrates how Americans are demanding and developing real solutions in the face of climate change. And as the weather grows more deadly and destructive, they are not waiting on Washington to act.

Panelists will be: Jasmin Moore, Sustainability director for Lawrence and Douglas County; Donn Teske, president of Kansas Farmers Union; Bob Grove, president of Climate Council of Greater Kansas City; and Dorothy Barnett, executive director of Climate+Energy Project of Kansas. Moderator will be Jerry Jost, executive director of Kansas Land Trust.
