The Douglas County Heritage Conservation Council invites the public to learn about the Kansas Historic Resource Inventory database that is used to store information about historic properties (buildings and landscapes). Survey information is entered into the database by registered users and is available to the public for research purposes. Many properties included in the inventory may be eligible for the state and national registers. The guest presenter will be Amanda Loughlin, National Register Coordinator, State of Kansas. The workshop will be held at the Lawrence Public Library, Meeting Room C. To pre-register for this free workshop, contact Jan at jshupertarick@dgcoks.gov or 785-330-2878 by Wednesday, June 22, 2016.
