Don’t Usually Shop at a Farmers Market?  We Want to Hear From You.

The Douglas County Food Policy Council and its partners are working to strengthen local farmers markets throughout the county.  As part of that, they want to better understand why some people generally to NOT go to farmers markets, and choose to shop elsewhere.  SCALE, Incorporated, a consulting firm working with the Council, has been hired to conduct market research. 

SCALE is seeking participants for a focus group on Thursday, June 9 at the Lawrence Public Library. The focus group will be held between 7pm and 8pm. (A second focus group may be added from 8pm to 9pm if needed.) A drawing will be held at the meeting, with two participants winning a small food prize.
