Accessibility in Douglas County

Douglas County is committed to making its facilities, programs, and services accessible to all people with disabilities, as required under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Douglas County is committed to digital accessibility. This means ensuring our website and other digital services are accessible to everyone, regardless of ability. We strive to ensure that digital content adheres to current Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.

Douglas County is in the process of ensuring current web content meets these standards by April 26, 2027. This process involves an audit of the website and remediation of content and files. All future content will be created to adhere to the standards and reviewed for accessibility.
