You can now reserve Douglas County buildings for parties, reunions or car shows online!

Douglas County rents buildings, grassy areas and an outdoor arena at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, 21st and Harper streets, and a community building at Lone Star Lake. Fees vary depending on the facility, duration of event, and other services such as use of a kitchen or equipment setup.

To view rental options and availability or to make a reservation, visit: dgcoks.gov/fairgrounds.

To make a reservation, you will need to create an account and sign a waiver agreement annually. Douglas County Maintenance staff will be notified when a reservation request is made. They will send an invoice by email when it is approved and then payment will be required 30 days before the event.

For more information, contact the Maintenance Department’s Administrative Officer Paige Vannicola at pvannicola@dgcoks.gov or 785-832-5296.

“We’re excited to be able to offer this new online tool that enables residents to search for building availability and then make a reservation without having to contact us,” Vannicola said.
