Located on US 56 Highway, approximately three miles east of Baldwin City, Ivan Boyd Prairie is owned by Douglas County and maintained by the Santa Fe Trail Historical Society of Douglas County.

This park features historic markers, an 18-acre tract of remnant prairie, preserved Santa Fe Trail wagon ruts, and a historical log cabin constructed in 1971. A gravel trail with interpretive signage winds through the prairie, offering visitors a unique opportunity to view wagon ruts and wildflowers.
