What if the person named in the jury summons has died?

We apologize if you have received a summons addressed to a family member who has passed away. Jury lists are compiled every year from Department of Motor Vehicle records, so the court's information is not always up to date. If you receive a Juror Summons for a deceased relative from the Douglas County District Court, please contact our Jury Coordinator at Jury@dgcoks.gov or 785-832-5213 and we will remove their name from our list of eligible jurors.
