The mission of the Douglas County Sustainability Office is to develop, adapt, and implement public programs and policies that strive to elevate the interdependence, and balance the priorities of, our living systems and the built environment, in pursuit of high quality of life for all residents, including:
- Healthy homes and green spaces,
- Cultural and community belonging, and
- Economic stability and opportunity.
