Community Listening Session about Mobile Response

Members of the Douglas County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council's Mobile Access Team are seeking information about our community's mobile response for those experiencing mental illness and addictions. They would like to hear about experiences directly or indirectly as well as recommendations about what the ideal response would look like. This session will help inform community work, budget proposals and pilot projects.

The listening session will be facilitated by Alex Kimball Williams, health equity planner at Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health. The following Mobile Access Team members will give a brief overview at the beginning of the session: Patrick Schmitz, of Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center; Stacey Cooper, of Heartland RADAC; Monica Kurz, of Kansas Suicide Prevention Headquarters; and Bob Tryanski, of Douglas County.
